The Southern Hemisphere kiwi campaign has already started. In the context of a high exchange rate, and a much increased harvest, New Zealand will need to quickly sell its yellow kiwis quickly. Furthermore, we will need to monitor the effects of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the downturn in consumption in Europe and the fall in fruit prices. Not to mention the high sea-freight costs and the difficulties in transport and port logistics.
