The grapefruit supply remained stable and moderate. On the one hand, Israeli volumes, though already in shortfall since the start of the campaign, decreased slightly which, combined with satisfactory demand, helped prices strengthen (21 % above average at the end of the month). The scenario was the same for Turkish fruit: in an already modest campaign, volumes saw a big fall in January, while prices remained stable at slightly above-average levels. Conversely, the Spanish supply progressed as the month went on. Demand, hitherto extremely sluggish, saw considerable improvement, which helped prices strengthen for Israeli fruits and the best Spanish brands. As for Florida, the campaign followed its course without any change: limited volumes, with high and stable prices.
