Charter market for H2

After a dull and dreary summer and autumn in the doldrums, the reefer charter market sparked into life ahead of the Southern Hemisphere deciduous fruit season. The market mood was lifted by demand from banana charterers for cargoes east and west of the Panama Canal, and also the Philippines, where the banana industry is finally showing signs of recovery after the typhoon damage sustained at the end of 2012 and in 2013.
