Russia-Ukraine 2022 Focus
The outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine raises the question of the weight of their citrus imports. With 1.7 million tonnes of citrus imported in 2021, Russia is one of the world's leading importers of citrus fruit. Although more modest, the Ukrainian market nevertheless occupies fourteenth place in the world ranking of citrus importing countries with 366,000 tonnes imported in 2020.
