Côte d'Ivoire's public authorities have announced the closure of the 2021 mango export season as of 28 May. However, exporters who have not had their goods intercepted for the European market are authorised to continue their shipments upon request to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Most of the export structures had already suspended their activities. This closure, which can be considered effective, was probably conditioned by the interceptions for fruit flies at the entrance to the European market.
