As usual, the transition between clementines and late varieties began, but took time to really get going, since clementine volumes from all origins extended to the beginning of the month. The overall supply was heavy. The last Corsican volumes sold off over the first few weeks. Meanwhile, the Spanish clementine campaign supplied big volumes (55 % above average), which were around for longer than usual to offset the late start to the season, and the sales difficulties in December. Demand remained quiet, and so prices dropped continuously, remaining below average. The Spanish Clemenvilla season, on the other hand, remained in shortfall (35 % below average) given the abundant Nules supply. The easy peelers market was abundantly supplied, with the late hybrids supply starting to take off behind schedule: Spanish Nadorcott, after starting in shortfall, reached average levels at the end of the month. Some very small volumes of Hernandine and Ortanique were observed. From Morocco, the start of the Nour campaign was marked by remarkably big volumes, while the Nadorcott got off to a light start. For Israel, the Orri supply progressed following the same trend as in previous years, at average levels. Prices gradually dropped and were only slightly below average at the end of the month (- 4 %).
