Côte d'Ivoire mango

The initial information on the forthcoming Ivorian mango campaign pointed to a leaner year than 2022, which had registered an exceptional production level. Nonetheless, given the country’s production potential, exports should more or less hold up at between 25 000 and 30 000 tonnes, as in previous years. The constraint arising from this lower production will be a wider harvest zone, resulting in extended local transportation, and a heightened risk of compromising the fruit quality. Two separate blooms have been reported. The mangos are currently in the bulking phase, to varying degrees according to the bloom and fruit-setting dates. Like last year, the campaign should be launched between the 1st and 5th of April.
