End of the 2018-19 season

From week 14, volumes from all origins and varieties began to ebb. The Moroccan Nadorcott campaign finished in the middle of the month (week 15), with volumes ultimately 12 % above average. As for Spain, Nadorcott shipments remained moderate throughout the month, with historically high levels (+ 84 %) because of the delay to the start of the campaign. The Spanish Ortanique supply also had a big shelf presence despite its level being 10 % below average. Finally, Israeli Orri volumes started to shrink from mid-April, though with levels distinctly above average (+ 17 %). Because of the rather hot and sunny April (especially Easter weekend), demand quickly switched to seasonal fruits (strawberry). Nonetheless, thanks to a downward trend in volumes, prices remained stable throughout the month, helping the season finish on a positive note.
