Bananas: end of Colombian peak of production

After several weeks at their maximum levels (slightly higher than 2016), Colombian deliveries to Europe have recovered a downward trend with levels similar to 2016 and closer to the 3 year average (+9%). However, incoming shipments of dollar suppliers in Europe remain heavy: while Ecuador maintains a steady average supply rhythm, Costa Rica is pursuing its seasonal increase and should reach soon its production peak at levels higher than 2016.
