This is what the exports over the first nine months of the year are pointing to. Volumes across all destinations were down by approximately 100 000 t from 2018. All the markets decreased in comparable proportions (by approximately 50 000 t for the EU-28 and 45 000 t for the USA). This was the first time since 2015, the previous campaigns having been marked by rising shipments. 2019 nonetheless remains the second biggest season in terms of volume after 2018.
